You do not need multiple YouTube accounts to create multiple YouTube channels. You can now create multiple YouTube channels under the same Google account. Google integrated YouTube channel with Google Plus Pages. You can have a YouTube channel for each Google Plus page that you create. You can create different YouTube channels dedicated to different subjects. This is very helpful for creating multiple niche channels focusing specific interest groups. You can use your Adsense account to monetize all your YouTube channels.
YouTube Channel and Google Plus Page will be Linked
You need to know these things before you integrate your YouTube channel with Google Plus Page and create a new YouTube channel.
- Your Google Plus page name and YouTube channel will display the same name and photo.
- Your public YouTube videos will appear on both (YouTube Channel and Google Plus).
- Managers of the Google Plus Page will be able to manage your YouTube channel.
Steps to Create Multiple YouTube Channels with Same Google Account
As I said earlier, multiple YouTube channels can be created with multiple Google Plus pages. You need to create a Google Plus Page first to create a new YouTube channel.
- Create a Google Plus page regarding the subject of YouTube channel that you are about to create. If you already have that Google Plus page , directly open youtube.com.
- I suppose you are logged in to YouTube with your Google account. Click on your profile icon from the top right corner of the page. You will see some options about YouTube and Google account.
- Click on All my channels. You can see this link in YouTube options.
- You are on Channel Switcher page. You can switch between multiple YouTube channels from this page. You can use YouTube as the channel of your choice.
- You will see only one default channel is listed under My Channels and there is a list of options having Google Plus page names below Other options. When you choose any of these given options, you will create a new channel.
Create Additional YouTube Channels with Google Plus Pages
- If you have not created a Google Plus page yet as per step 1, you will not be able to find the option of your choice. Then you can create a new channel from the option given at top right corner of the page. This option will also lead you to create a new Google Plus page first. This new page will integrate with new YouTube channel.
- Follow the process and you will create a new YouTube channel. You can use YouTube as that new channel. You can actually switch between all YouTube channels that you create. This is just like using Facebook or Google Plus as page name.
The new YouTube channel comes with all the options that your default YouTube channel has. You can link your Adsense account to this channel to earn money from your videos. Your YouTube channel gets a platform on Google Plus for its fans and followers and your Google Plus page gets a dedicated video channel on YouTube.
